PFR (Product flow regulators)

Production and packaging processes should be separated in order to allow each process to achieve maximum efficiency. This avoids any adverse mutual influence. While the latest generation of packaging machines is more efficient and reliable than ever, any downtime leads to unnecessary cost through reworking or waste and may even cause stoppages of the entire line. A PFR is the ideal solution to minimize this risk. Moreover, the final branches of a packaging line can be fed more efficiently from a PFR. In many cases, this will avoid any reworking or waste as well as raise output levels of the production line! For the customer, this means more efficient use of available packaging capacity and may even reduce the number of packaging machines required. The result: more packaged products at the end of the shift!

In order to quantify efficiency increases prior to any investment ROTZINGER has developed an efficiency simulation software which can simulate a line and then calculate the PFR's optimal capacity and performance.
In some cases ROTZINGER carries out practical tests with products provided by the customer, in order to ensure that the proposed solution can actually be implemented.
Depending on product properties, performance, available space etc ROTZINGER can then suggest various products which are suitable PFRs; the most important of these are:
