Compact PFR

  • By using a PFR even the rearmost packaging machines of a production line can be fed continuously and at maximum speed.
  • There is no overflow at the end of the line, avoiding any reworking and waste.
  • Overall line performance is improved as packaging branches served by the PFR achieve higher output levels compared to a station-based solution.
  • In the event of performance variations of the packaging machines the products are kept in an intermediate buffer; this avoids any overflow.
  • Using appropriate additional functions, the products may be cooled or warmed over a given storage period.
